Burning both ends of the proverbial candle? Feeling too tired to carry on, yet too busy to nod off? Pick up a hot coffee drink, preferably a high-voltage, day-old convenience store brew, and find a comfortable chair or corner of floor (bed not recommended). Drink as quickly as possible, set your alarm for twenty minutes, then surrender to sleep, while remaining in a seated position. The alarm will sound just as the caffeine takes effect, and you’ll awaken, somewhat better able to channel more vital force into whatever you’re chasing or whatever’s sucking it out of you.
